The Objectives of Peaceful Fight

As has been said on other pages, Peaceful Fight is a slightly different martial art as its emphasis is not solely on martial matters but tries to help people live their lives in a positive way. The development of a student of Peaceful Fight is hoped to develop a sense of students being part of the wider World beyond the walls of the training hall and help students understand their place within that World. Although this will affect different students in different ways, a number of generalised long and short term objectives have been envisaged for the system. As with all things though within the World, these objectives are likely to ebb and flow as the years pass and different students decide what is important / unimportant for them. However, general objectives of the club could be listed as :-
Short Term for New Students
1) Training should help to understand, rationalise and reduce the fear of violence.
2) Training should help to remove the fear of being positive to strangers within the local community.
3) Self reliance should develop to target and improve those things which make our lives less enjoyable.
4) Self contentment of where a student is at present and, if necessary, steps to take to improve the situation.
5) An understanding of humanity both internally and within the wider World.
6) Development of a desire to build a better community.
7) Ability to fight (both physically and mentally) for what is of value in a student's life
Long term For Students
1) Detailed knowledge of human body and function and desire to help others achieve their potential.
2) To be positive force in the wider World.
Long Term For Club
1) Bit of a selfish one this one, but I've always wanted to open a school for children who hate school because of bullying. It's a bit of a dream as it will take at least 30 or so years to get the money together. Still no reason for not having it as an objective.
